Coming in 2021 - The Digital Twin Challenge

By Adam Beck | Executive Director, Smart Cities Council Australia New Zealand | Secretariat, Centre for Data Leadership | Administrator, ANZ Digital Twin Hub
In 2021 we will launch the Digital Twin Challenge, a program to accelerate government leadership in catalysing Digital Twin application.
The program will offer 10 government entities mentoring and benefits from leading experts and organisations. The program will also serve to help advance the Australia New Zealand Digital Twin Strategy as well as building some critical support resources for the wider Digital Twin community.
We are seeking five (5) local councils and five (5) state/territory/regional government agencies to offer up a plan or project with which the benefits of a Digital Twin can be realised. This may be an infrastructure project, an urban renewal precinct, a masterplan or you aspire to create a Digital Twin Strategy for your organisation.
Through the Challenge we will:
create model templates for each of these scenarios
document and share the learnings
celebrate the outcomes
promote Digital Twin leadership
We are also seeking interest from the private sector and the research community to contribute to supporting and sponsoring the program so we all benefit from growing the Digital Twin marketplace.
Registration of interest is now open.
