Land Use Victoria secures award-winning expert as new Digital Twin lead

Land Use Victoria, part of the Victorian Department for Environment, Land Water and Planning (DELWP), is thrilled to announce the appointment of Dr Adam Mowlam as Digital Twin Lead. Dr Mowlam previously led the Wyndham City Smart City Office where he developed and embedded an exciting vision that has led one of Australia’s fastest and largest municipalities to the forefront in the Smart City space and put them on the map both nationally and internationally as a leader in the local government sector.
Adam brings a unique depth of technical knowledge and strategic leadership and has designed and implemented many innovative projects. These have included WynLens, the world-first holographic digital twin, which won the prestigious 2017 National Award for Excellence in Local Government and development of Wyndham's first Smart City Strategy which was recognised by Smart Cities Council Australia New Zealand as the best strategy at the 2019 Smart Cities Awards.
Adam will play a critical role in forming a vision, developing a strategy, articulating the direction and roadmap, and overseeing development and implementation of digital twins across Victoria.
